New NYTimes Now App for iPhone

NYT-LOGOThe following is a note to Pace faculty who are interested in using the New York Times in their classroom:

Just a friendly note to alert you to the new NYT Now app from The New York Times, specially created for those wanting a fast and engaging news experience.

iPhone and iPod Touch users can try it for free as the app, or can link NYT Now app to their home delivery or NYTimes.com username and password for continued usage on their phone. Any non NYT-subscriber and iPhone user also can subscribe to it alone for $7.99 per month.

Here is the preview from the iTunes store: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/nytnow/id798993249?ls=1&mt=8.

As a friendly reminder, for anyone in need of NYT print and/or digital products at the education rate, simply go to: www.NYTimes.com/CollegeRate.

Lastly, review classroom ideas for using NYT at www.NYTimesinEducation.com, as you start to prepare syllabi for summer and fall courses. NYTimes has many digital group plans available, and would be happy to meet with faculty to review them, or to schedule a phone call.

For more information on this contact Emily Ryan, Education Manager - The New York Times, at (201) 560-2564.
